baby cry for help by Smushey baby cry for help by Smushey
I found this swallow baby on the floor together with his already dead sibling.
The cat was the one to blame, It had probably killed their mother last night and they were next. We found feathers of a bird this morning, so that's my thought.
I managed to save the baby who was still alive, I used my sleepingdress as warm blanket and put it in a small paperbox.

I contacted a woman who work with wounded birds, and let them free later on.

My mom drove me to Storvreta, a Place Close to uppsala here in sweden. There we met the woman.
In relief, she told me that the bird was not hurt or anything. I was worried that the cat's teeth have given it some kind of infection, but luckily it was healthy!

Now I just need to rest, I was kind of stress during the Babies Health and Everything!

I hope It will survive and live a long happy Life eating musquitos baah <3

You did a great thing. Baby birds are extremely difficult to care for.. I've done it many times with the aid of a good friend who rehabilitates injured wildlife, & while it is rewarding, it is very stressful. I've raised & rescued birds that range from sparrows, to cardinals, to owls, to hawks, & I don't know how she does it! I'm so happy this one made it to a safe place with you! Of all the creatures in the animal kingdom, birds are the most dear to me. :)

I found a newborn once and it didn't even have its eyes open. Like, I found it on the curb with a nest in the walls of a home, so there was no way I was going to know if I put in the right nest if I found at all. We found a shelter for it though, so as far as I knew, it was good to go with a broken toe. We had to hold it overnight and feed it because it was so young, so I definitely feel that stress part!

That birdie should be fine though, if it's already healthy!

i found a baby mynah once, he was just a little fledgling and he fell out of his nest. I took him in (i was like 10) and named him Koku, and wherever I walked, he'd trot along making little cheep noises ;___; but one day he caught a fever and passed away ;_________;
